About Franklyn Michelin

Franklyn Michelin is an avid outdoor adventurer with a passion for winter sports. Native to Montreal, Canada, where the cold stretches on for long periods of time, Franklyn always found ways to have fun. He grew up playing hockey, as well as going skiing, skating, and snowmobiling. With friends, he found himself in huge snowball fights that lasted until they were all worn out with exhaustion.

As an adult, Franklyn still finds the time to enjoy his favorite childhood activities and has learned to appreciate the activities Canadian winters have to offer. He is fascinated by the weather and keeps a keen eye on temperature changes and weather patterns to ensure he is safe and well-prepared when he partakes in his favorite outdoor hobbies.  He also enjoys closely following the athletic achievements of others. He makes sure to keep up on the careers of D1 athletes in Downhill Skiing and some other Olympic Sports. As a father, he also loves to play sports and get outside and appreciate the winter with his own children.

When he’s not engaged in winter sports, Franklyn works as a medical supplies consultant. With years of experience, he has a proven track record of success. He owns a small, outsource company that provides consulting and customer support services to medical supply companies.

Prior to starting his own business, Franklyn Michelin was the CEO of Medicare Durable Medical Equipment (“DME”) Provider Diabetic. While there, he facilitated a turnaround that resulted in exponential client growth—where once they had a client base of a few thousand, the company was now working with over 40,000 customers.

Throughout his entire career, Franklyn’s work ethic and innovative thinking have created growth opportunities for the companies he’s worked for. For example, during his time as an Industry Research and Analysis Consultant, an investor group nominated him to the position of Co-Chief Operations Officer. The position granted him the ability to manage the day-to-day activities of the company. Eventually, the other Co-Chief resigned, leaving Franklyn wholly in charge of running the company.

For Franklyn Michelin, the most rewarding aspect of his career is the connection and difference he makes in other people’s lives—especially the elderly. In his current role, as the owner of his own company, he loves that he gets to meet and work with a variety of people.
